Stir-Fried Garlic and Whole Mild Chilies

12 ounces, fresh, mild chilies, such as anaheim, preferably of different

1/2 teaspoon, salt
1-1/2 tablespoons, chopped garlic
1 tablespoon, low-sodium soy sauce
2 teaspoons, sugar
1/2 cup, vegetable stock

Heat a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add the oil, salt, garlic, and
