Ok, gquilt is now in Fedora Extras. There were a few items that the reviewers required to be changed before it was accepted. You might be interested to look at: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=165913 for a couple patches and some spec file comments. josh p.s.
