I'm trying to use quilt's mail command to send some patches. As per
advice, I'm doing test runs addressed to myself on the local machine to
get things right before sending it out to the real addressees.
Unfortunately, the command reliably fails as follows:

[EMAIL PROTECTED] MM-2.6.17-rc4-mm3]$ quilt mail --send
[EMAIL PROTECTED] --prefix=RFC [EMAIL PROTECTED]
--from="Peter Williams <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>"
sed: -e expression #2, char 12: unterminated `s' command

[EMAIL PROTECTED] MM-2.6.17-rc4-mm3]$

I don't see this failure here. What does quilt mail ... --trace > log give you, do you see which command fails in the log?

You could try the --mbox=... option for easier testing even when using the real recipients.

I'll try to do this when I have time. From my point of view it's no longer urgent as I have discovered Peter Jackson's sendpatchset script which is easier to use and fills my needs.
