Hmmm. Now that I know I cannot user a "real" date in a Scan, is
there a way I can use a surrogate in the Scan and only have to change
the value of the surrogate? For example, maybe I could use "OSDate"
in each statement when the day number would appear. Then if I set
OSDate equal to a negative numeric value, the net effect would be the
same as if I had coded the negative number itself. I am just trying
to diminish the number of places I need to plug the date number.
