Phillip! With all due respect, if you are system
developer for hedge fund, you MUST have cross
reference procedure with at list one more data
provider.
I’m little retail guy,trading my own money, but every
day after market close i compare data from 3 different
sources, before i do anything with data. After i got
my list for tomorrow i run 2 more checks 1 hour before
market open, to see, if there any ticker changes or
maybe delisting issue or maybe stock is halted.
those are simple things and everyone, who is serious
about trading have to do their own homework and take
appropriate steps BEFORE something serious happened.
