Hello Gary,

I don't mean to be a pain, but it appears that the QP dividend
related data needs a complete relook and overhaul. After finding
problems with the few stocks that I own, I decided to examine the
extent of the problem. I've already posted a list of some stocks
that appear to have duplicated dividends with duplicated payment
dates. Microsoft was one of them. There also appears to be scores of
stocks if not hundreds that have payable dates in the -3 hole in
1999, 1998, 1995, etc...yet the date in the 0 or -1 hole is 2006.
How can this be?

Below are just a few. This is using the Excel functions. This
creates problems. Using data such as this, how can one create
algorithms that identify the most recent payable date?..and
associated payment? Is it in the 0, -1, -2, or -3 hole? Seems to
vary all over the lot.

Question: with QP price data, the most recent price is in the 0
hole, 2nd most recent is in the -1 hole, etc. Why not make it the
same with the dividend data? Normally, it currently appears that
with QP dividend data, that the most recent payable date is in the
-3 hole, when I would expect it to be in the 0 hole. But also,
often, as shown below, the most recent can be in the -1, or -2 hole
with the other holes filled by some date that is years in the past.
This matter really needs to be fixed. Thx.

Below are just a fraction of these.
