Also, I too would prefer to have the old groups that offer a more detailed
industry breakdown.
For the top down investor, the Market/Sector/Industry Group/ Stock selection
process becomes more complicated as industry groups are combined. You can
call the market/sector/industry groups correct, but if you pick the wrong
stock, you don't make any money. The combining of like industry groups
increasing the chances of picking the wrong stock in an industry group, simply
because
it may be in the wrong subset of the underlying group.....
