I don't understand the need to export these single contract (non-continuous)
symbols at all. If AGet can read the stocks, why not the futures.

Gary, the symbol I have is S50607...That's QP's symbol for June contract of
the S&P futures.
I exported the list to Metastock with the QP export to Metastock feature.
Metastock reads it fine....GET doesn't even show it when I point to the
Metastock directory that
contains it.

How did you creat the me files? With the old metastock program, or form the

beta program?

Thanks

Gary

No Gary. For instance...it doesn't recognize the June07 S&P contract, It

is visible in my

Metastock directory, but doesn't appear when I view that same directory in

GET.

Also sent you a request for QP upgrade...since my current beta has

"expired." (????)

Where do I download the latest version?

Hi

Is it the symbols with spaces that don't work?

  Hi Gary,

Is there a way to improve the recognition of QuotesPlus' futures

symbols by AdvancedGET?

Some are accepted by GET...many are not. What I do is export a list of

QP futures to Metastock

and then try and use GET with that directory. Like I said, it works OK

for some...not for many others.

  Any help is greatly appreciated.

  Regards,

  Claud

    Hi

I just brought in all the !ID indexes into AmiBroker.

In AmiBroker - File - Database Settings - Configure - Retrieve

Just make sure that indexes is checked.

I think that if you do it during the week, they don't get picked up

as there is no current data, and they are skipped if Exclude symbols

without quotes is checked.

Update your Quotes Plus data first, then try it with Amibroker, it

should work for you.

    Best regards,

    Gary

Did anyone help you with this? What version of QP are you running?
