Discussion of Quotes Plus SoftwareHello Gary... Sorry I overlooked this. (I had
sent the ticker in an earlier note) It is the NASDAQ declining issues. !NQ-D
and using the QP Display the invalid data starts on 2/18/2008 with no values
(or N/A) and continues with this value until 3/03/2008 where it looks like an
overflow value through 3/24/2008.

This plays havoc on calculating the McClelland Oscillator.

Can you say a few words about how the Hemscott classification will apply to the
Amibroker database?

Thanks
Joe

    Dale:

I did receive that message from HGS, and checked the list. !ID140 was
not on the list---in fact it was missing from QP before the HPS
    changes took effect.

Hi Gary - It's important that I get the number of declining issues
starting 3/3/2008 to 3/24/2008. Unless I can get you to correct the QP
database, I'll have to resort to getting another data source. I'm will
to edit my AB database so it will reflect the data, but 1) I can not
get it readily from published sources as best I can tell and 2) I
    shouldn't have to do that.

Please take a look using the Quotes Plus display and you'll see what I
mean, that there are several corrupted data points in that array.

    Regards
    Joe

I was just on the phone with someone who has it, and it doesn't seem to
read our Metastock files.

    Thanks

    Hi Gary,

I have a copy of Metastock 10.1. It reads the QP data just fine, at least
the Metastock data which is exported through HGSI or SPP.

    Hi Gary,
If the person sees icons instead of ticker symbols on the "open" page in
Meta Stock make sure" files of type" located at the bottom of the page is set
to smart charts.
Recently had a problem , tried clicking on the icons received a message
that said "not a valid Meta Stock file". After setting Files of type to smart
charts the ticker symbols replaced the file icons.
    Perhaps that will help.

    Hello Everyone:

I am back into using QP after an 8 year hiatus and I am trying to
download my first data post installation. Unfortunately I am getting
and error after it downloads 14 files. The error is error 19. Anyone
have an idea on how to get past this? I have moved all the files out
of the incoming folder but that has not helped.

    Thanks!

    Ed

    Hi Ed -

That's a beta issue, I'd suggest the you uninstall everything, and install
the standard qp3.1 again.

    Best regards

    Gary
