I have SPP Ver 6.0, Build 17413, with QP3, and Windows XP Pro. I use SPP to both automatically and manually update my Metastock format data files. Never had a problem until tonight.
For one (just one) of the directories that I tried to manually update tonight via "Update Metastock Directory..." , I get the following error message: "You are already accessing data in this folder." I was not accessing any data at the time; in fact no other programs were open. I rebooted, and reopened SPP. Again tried to manually update that directory, and got the same message. Any idea what is causing this problem, and how to overcome it? The message does not say what stock data file is supposedly being accessed, but I can only assume it is one of the first in the directory, because I get the message immediately. I subsequently opened Metastock, and looked at the charts for the first 12 or so files, and they all looked OK. Harry
