Hello

It sounds like the com dll did not get registered.

Go to Start - Run

Enter: regsvr32 qpsrv.dll

click OK

That will register the dll so that wealth lab can find it.

symbols

I have made a test install on my laptop. After installing the new version,
Wealth-Lab Developer is not able to access Quotes Plus data anymore. It seems
that the new version has changed the COM objects that WLD uses to access QP
data. This is not good, I can not have that happen on my production system.

Is there any chance of resolution for the corruptionm problem without losing
functionality? Couldn't a data correction update be sent out that does not
require installing new software?

    Hello

I've rebuilt the data and index files, and sent the new build out. It's
fine here.

If you're having trouble with bad data for symbols, the you'll have to re
install from one of theses links:

    http://www.qp2.com/downloadinstaller.php

    http://www.qp2b.com/downloadinstaller.php

    http://www.greatstocks.org/downloadinstaller.php

The installation will keep your existing scans, and you will not lose any
data.

    Best regards

certain symbols

      Hello

I think that the database that was being downloaded had some bad data in
it, I'm doing a new build now, and rebuilding all of the data and index files.

It should be ready later tonight, I'll let you know.

The problem is in the data files on your computer, and the only way to
correct it is to re install when the new build is ready.

      Best regards,

!BYT (ISE Semiconductor Index) hangs up both my computers too. When
I enter the symbol, the chart stays on the previous symbol and the
charting program freezes. This is true on my desktop, and also my
laptop which is behind 1 day because I only update it weekly.

I can ignore this symbol because I don't make use of this index, but
there seem to be a lot of weird corruption problems in the QP data
        base lately. This is worrysome.
