Hi Tim,

Hmm...I did think of that before posting, so I checked the names in QP
Charting's search feature and they appeared to be truncated there too. Plus,
some of the names in AB are longer as shown at the top of this pic so I don't
think AB is truncating them - in AB I am just using the AddColumn() function to
add the FullName(). Could you possibly post a pic of what you are seeing?
Thanks for the reply!

Steve

  Steve,

I use AmiBroker and I see the full names for all of those tickers that you
showed in your screen cap. What is producing the list? If it is an AFL
script, perhaps the column formula is doing the truncation.

Hi Gary - Thanks for that info but I have never used SPP, I just feed the
QP data into AmiBroker - do you mean that the longer names will show up in QP
when the new SPP is released? Thank you!

      Hi

I've just been informed that the next release of SPP will have long etf
names.

That is due any day now.

      Best regards

      Gary

Hi Gary - I was wondering if it might be possible to fix the names of
some of the ETF's? It seems that many of the names have their ends truncated
so what's left looks exactly the same for many ETF's from the same families,
for example look at the names of all the ProShares, some of the Powershares,
Rydex funds, SPDR's, etc. As is, I can't tell what they are unless I google
each ticker which can get old pretty quickly. 8 - ) Thank you!
