Although I would love to read a guide on how to build qutecom with
mingw the only thing I can say is that qutecom builds fine with
Visual C++ 2005 Express Edition which is free:

I wrote a small howto on the wengophone-devel list a while ago. You

Be carefull and read the whole thread as there are a few issues
regarding Visual Studio 2005 which must be solved in order to
compile wengophone cleanly.

I can remember vaguely some problems with the boost library version
1.35. Stick to the v1.34.1 and you should be fine.
