Hi all,

I have been a long time user -and translator- of WengoPhone, which I
am still currently using.

My question is concerned with the status of the current Wengo
accounts. If I understand it correctly, they are still at the Wengo
servers and can be used normally (as I say, at least I me and the
people I communicate with can still use ours), but apparently no new
accounts can be created.

Just for the sake of trial, I tested this by installing the latest
openwengo (2.1) on a Windows PC. During installation, one of the first
questions is to setup a Wengo (or other) account. When directed to
https://secure.wengo.com/register/wengophone/index.php the page says
that "This service is temporarilly unavailable", from which I assume
that it is not possible to create new accounts anymore.

Therefore, what I'd like to ask is what is going to happen with the
free accounts with the move to qutecom. Will the wengo accounts have
to be upgraded to qutecom accounts? Will there still be the
possibility of creating free accounts?
