I guess you meant pulseaudio and not portaudio... portaudio is portable audio library, but had a lot of problems under linux so I think now it is only used for the windows version of qutecom. > this is not what i am want imho. i want direct pulseaudio access (because > of simultaneous access by qutecom,vlc,psi etc.) I managed to use pulseaudio by settting the output device to "default" and the input device to the name of my sound card. This could a good comprimise, as software mixing is really useful mainly of output.
