Hello QuteCom Team, I have come across your software while looking for a Linux videoconferencing solution.
I am working on an art installation which could be thought of as a set of internet-connected kiosks. My goal is for each kiosk to be able to automatically establish a video link with another. After a period of time, each connection would break and the kiosk would form a video link with some other station. Basically, I need to be able to programatically start and stop connections, without human interaction. I now have a few questions: 1) Can QuteCom package do what I have proposed above? How much programming/work would this require? 2) How stable is QuoteCom connection? Does is experience memory leaks or other problems which would require periodic software restarts? 3) Can QuoteCom establish connections when one, or both, stations are behind a NAT? Any assistance will be much appreciated. I understand that this is open source package. I will be happy to contribute to its development through my own efforts (though, I have only basic programming skills), or through publicity associated with my project. Thank you, Max _______________________________________________ QuteCom-dev mailing list [email protected] http://lists.qutecom.org/mailman/listinfo/qutecom-dev
