I did some investigation: commenting that function we have the effect of
returning the standard qt pixmap rather than the pixmap from the style
that the user selected (e.g. windows, plastique, cleanlooks, ...).

Thanks, good to know! Actually I can see that function called only for the
pixmap QStyle::SP_ToolBarHorizontalExtensionButton, but the toolbar is
just two buttons right now, so probably this is the reason we see no
effect.
