[EMAIL PROTECTED] happened to mention in passing:

Hi. How can I share MIDI files properly so other computers with Windows
Media can play them? These are the ones built by QWS. When I send one
over MSN, the receiver is NOT able to play them, and they are quite
small. When I try to burn them to an Audio CD, Windows Media aborts with
an error that the process cannot finish. Thanks.

Checlist:
1. Are you using the very latest version from http://qws.andrelouis.com - version 1.51? I have only heard of such a problem once, way back in 2002/3 when James implemented his own metadata for port-saving. Never since then have I heard of such a thing. 2. How are you saving your files? Standard (Midi type 1), none-standard (Midi type 0) or QWS (Midi type 1?) 3. Are you personally able to press enter from say, windows explorer (my computer) on your midi file(s) and have them play back or not? If so, in what application, other than QWS? 4. Getting more complicated: Try sending one to your mobile phone. A friend's mobile phone. A PDA. A rockbox-capable player.

If none of that works, I don't have a clue. At all. So I hope something does.
