Hi, Ken, A program and instrument are more or less interchangeable. When we discuss the various sounds in a synthesizer, we call the instruments. Later you may want to make up an instrument list which can give easy access to the sounds in your unit. For now it's best to learn the basics of MIDI as well as how to edit MIDI files.
I'm in the United States as is true of many of the subscribers to this list. It really does not matter if you write to someone in this country or elsewhere. Many people overseas are experts with QWS, including its author. Joe G. On Mon, 21 Jan 2008 11:59:32 -0500, Kenneth Reed wrote: >Hi folks, I'm just getting started with qws.
