Hi, a couple of points here. Firstly, that tutorial is about 3 years or so old and Andre, the original author and I know that it needs updating. We are planning to update it and redo it for those of us that are not so up with midi, starting at the very basics then moving to an intermediate or advanced levvel. It's just finding the time to coordinate and put things together that is tricky, since I'm in New Zealand and he's in london. <smile> So yes, that tutorial isn't ideal, but we're working on it.

thanks,
Arthur.

A suggestion? Perhaps the qws tutorial should be geared towards
those who are midi babies, and broken down to simple terms, rather
than some midi-jock showing off for the most part, then talking fast
through the rest. Just a thought.

I must admit the tutorial is very old and doesn't include a lot of
the new features that QWS contains now, so I was thinking as was
Arfy, that we'd eventually do a joint effort and combine both our
very extensive knowledge to bring you an up-to-date one sometime,
when we can coordinate it properly. I think since the current
tutorial is 3 years old almost, that would be a good thing.

I am downloading that tutorial right now. Thanks for all your hard
work on QWS!

Hi Everyone,

At long last I have updated the QWS website. Many apologies to
those who sent me things to include on it and have been waiting
ages.

What's new?:

- A link to Andre Louis' audio tutorial on QWS.
- More instrument lists.
- A link to Veli-Pekka's Cakewlak to QWS instrument list conversion
tool. - Updated QWS help in document form.
- Reorganised Downloads page.
- Mentioned the mailing list archive.

Hope you enjoy the updated site.

James.
