I have the problem I've seen expressed elsewhere, that I can only get one instrument at a time playing through a synth. THis refers both to my Yamaha psr85 keyboard, and to vst synths. I'll keep hacking away.... but if anyone has some hints then let me know. I read one hint to set all midi track values, but that didn't help. Thanks.
I don't know the exact details for your synths, but on many keyboards and synths you might have to go into a particular multitimbral mode in order to play more than one MIDI channel at a time. For example, on my Roland gear, I have to go into what is called "Performance mode" and on my Korg, it's called "Multi mode".
