Hay all. Over the past few weeks i've been preparing for a midi data interpritation exam where we have to find different things out about a midi that we are given.
I am finding that in keeping with other midi's that i've looked at, there is one track at the top that handles most controler changes; this track beeing the one of most interest. What would be really nice is if there was a feature where with out knowing what controler I was looking for, qws would simpley jump to the next event in the track. For example, in most cases, programs, pan and volume all seem to be set up at the begining of the file which is no problem. We will then be asked what the next controler is in the file, but there is often lots of empty space before the next controler is present. Due to me not knowing what the next controler is or when it is, I can't use find or go to. It could well be that i'm the only person that could use this feature, but I thought i'd post it to see what kind of responce i'd get. Cheers.
