you could have also done this, my personal favorite for horrible midi
files you find online!:
1. go to the tools menu.
2. Select "aply to all tracks"
3. Go to the tools menu again
4. Select more tools, then "delete controllers..."
5. on the box, type 131 and press enter.
This work excellent for ensuring nothing gets left out. We once ha d
aproblem with a performance because somehow the person that made the
midi file brought the drums volume to 15, so you can imagine! *be sure
you uncheck "aply to all tracks" before doi any more edits!

Hi Frank,
Further to what Joe mentioned, you might find the Find command helpful in
order to locate any further tempo events in the MIDI file. Usually, they
are on the first track only. Once you have found them, you can use the
Event or Controller editors to remove them.
Alternatively, you could try this: Select the whole of the first track,
then
use the Delete Events tool, giving event number 131 to delete all tempo
events.
Hope this helps.
James.
