Hi Raymond,
The trick with a standard Windows hot key control is never to use Shift+Tab
near it. As soon as you press the Shift, Windows assumes that you want to
use Shift as part of the hot key. So, of course, when you press Tab as well
as Shift, Windows clears the entry as you've moved away from the hot key
control. Hope that makes some kind of sense.
The practical upshot is: when you want to change the keys for the onscreen
keyboard, only ever use Tab to cycle through the dialog. Note: this is not
a specific problem to QWS, it is general to Windows.
Thanks also for the suggestion about setting the velocity values for the
onscreen keyboard - noted.
Hope this helps.
Best regards,
James.

Subject: QWS List changing on-screen keyboard keys
Hi,
I'm trying to change the on-screen keyboard keys, but every time I go to a
note, and tab to the key edit field, and press a key, I can use the say line
jaws keystroke and hear the key being read. However if I tab and shift tab
back into the edit field, it says none. I can't really give much more
information because I really don't know what's going on, but I can say that
at one point, I actually had the whole thing get set to none, so I had to
restore to defaults. If I'm lucky, I can get it to preserve the keys, but
they will be defaults. in other words I have not managed to change any keys
because of this issue.
Does anyone have any ideas as how to fix this/
Also the ability to reconfigure the volocity distrubution would be nice, say
have a key and then have an option as to what velocity to use.
Thanks for reading.
