Unfortunately, Synth Font's interface was slightly inaccessified over the last few versions, so now some of the stuff you would want to do in it is much harder. However, by pressing f4 anywhere in synth Font, it will bring up a list of the banks and programs of the soundfont you have loaded, and allow you to change it for that track. I don't use Synth Font anymore, and I kind of got disinterested in it because of the accessibility issues, and XM Play which is an excellent soundfont player with the midi plugin. I can't really help you more through Synth Font's interface. Synth Font does let you do more than XM Play, but I never needed to figure them out for what i'm doing.

Subject: QWS List managing sound font content.

Hi All.

As I've said in previous posts I'm just getting back to doing some composing and arranging.
I've got 2 questions I'm hoping someone may answer.
1. I've got a soundfont with a number of patches and possibly a number of banks. Is there any way of finding out what banks and patches any given soundfont has? 2. I'm using synthfont to do live playback. Does anyone know of an easy way to load multiple soundfonts. I'm thinking about having a gm sound font I've got on bank 0, and then use other banks for other soundfonts. As I understand it banks mean you can have more than 128 voices. Is this right, is there any way of setting up what I want to do in synth font?

Any new info gratefully received.
Thanks.
Nick.
