Hi,
The version of VST Host I have been faithfully sticking to is 1.46. I can post that on dropbox and give a link if you want. I haven't tested other vst programs, but there are some that exist, like Savi Host, and others. There are some shareware too if you want to go that way. I personallly stick to free stuff when I can, even if it means i have to deal with the occasional problem. Many workstations support VSTs as you may know, and if you use one that does, you can probably configure it to work with QWS if you want. I don't have any knowledge of making that work, though. And now for the note editor. The range of notes is most likely limitedd because there are other notes in the way, because two of the same note cannot play at once. The range of notes you should be getting is from c-1 to g9, which is plenty for anyone's music needs. Try running the cleanup tool and utilizing the quantize and quantize length tools, that will tidy things up. If problems still exist after that, you'll have to go into the note editor and figure out where the problems are, and manually move the notes around so you can make the changes you originally needed. Again the QWS tutorials can help much more than I could with that, since explaining it isn't easy.

Hello Raymond!

In fact I am using a newer version of VSTHost. Is there another solution I can try? If necessary, I will load the older one. Thanks for the key combinations, but why is the scale of changing the notes limitid? I can only go up and down a restricted range of notes and when I press F7 or F8 to go up and down in octaves, it could happen that I can't reach notes between.
