First, are you trying this in the side of the screen where you're able to
access the individual measures, or on the side with the word "options" read
to you? Try it from the "options side if you want to quantize the entire
track. If you want to do just part of the track you have to highlight the
measure(s) you want to quantize.
At that point you should hear the quantization.
Try this: go to the options side, press Q, and then use 1 for the beat
division number and hit enter. Listen to the track. This should mess up your
track to the point you can hear a difference. Now hit CTRL+Z and undo it.
Remember too that quantization is per beat, not measure -- there is no way
to quantize to anything higher than a single beat in QWS without expanding
the time and then compressing it back afterward.

Subject: QWS List Quantizing with qws

Hi Listers, I'am new here, and firstly I want to thank the programmer for
this very good software.

I've problems in quantizing with it, I tried to quantize a drum pattern that
I played but it didn't get quantized to the beat. I've also tried to play
with parameters, but I can't achieve the same results that I have with
Sonar, for example.

I've two drum tracks, one must be quantized to 8, and the charly track to
16.

How I can do it? I've also read the help, but nothing... I don't have
success.

Thanks in advance and happy holydays!
