Hi James and or anyone who is interested,
After playing with a lot of different synths/soundfonts, I am running into one slightly annoying problem. SFZ uses LSB to change banks in soundfonts, but Bassmidi uses MSB. Perhaps I got those mixed up, but QWS combines both lsb adn msb. So I end up having to memorize the multiples of 128, or make an instrument list, neither of which ar easy when I am just perusing. I was wondering if there could be an option in the options settings to display msb and lsb as separate settings in the track properties. Changing banks would be easier in some situations. AS for conflicting with instrument lists, it shouldn't be a problem; the instrument lists can stay as they always were, and QWS could easily convert the appropriate separate banks, just take the compounded number divided by 128. The whole number is MSB, the remainder is LSB. Again those might be mixed up but I'm just speculating. I hope if QWS sees an update, this option will be added, as it is pretty easy to do the math and I think it could be useful. Of course you could always use the default combining banks. I still like that as well for some things.
