The whole MSB/LSB structure is not used in all cases -- for instance I've got several hardware synths that QWS can't send the proper bank changes because these manufacturers don't use controller 0 or 32 to change banks, they use program change messages. But the Proteus VX numbers banks in it using straight bank numbers, and since it's a freeware synth it's a good option for folks on a budget to get a lot of new sounds for free. So the first bank is going to be bank 0, the second is bank 1, etc, not 128. Advising folks about this will save difficulties. (I have sent you that instrument definition file, right?)
