Hi

I used only the Yamaha Tyros1 for the Film Score stuff I did for Philip
Bennefall back in 2008, because at that time i didn't have a clue about how
to work with external libraries.
I upgraded to the Tyros4 amonth before i heard that the damned Tyros5 was
coming out. Last year I upgraded my entire system to use other external
libraries like Omnisphere, Trillion, Komplete, Orange Tree Samples,
Pettinhouse, Ample Sound, EZ Drummer, Steven Slate, and Vienna Symphonic
Library in conjunction with the Tyros4 (where necessary). When I work with
only the Tyros4, it's nice to work in QWS because it's nifty, swift,
responsive enough, and I can perfectly achieve everything I want to. When
however wanting to access my other sound libraries, I don't really use QWS,
because I can't seem to get get the hang of the VSTHost thingie.
For some reason I can only seem to load 1 external plugin at a time with the
VST host, and I was getting frustrated with that.
Having said that, I know for a fact that many of you are more successful
with the VST host in QWS than I am, and it would be interesting and useful
to at some point learn how you achieve those results.
Also, I'm not sure how workable the respective plugins would be with the hot
spots that were written for them, when working in an other environment than
Sonar. But Sonar works perfectly together with the scripts and hot spots
which I bought. These upgrades and scripts cost me an arm and a leg, but my
sounds these days are just so much better and professional, which makes my
wife's silent moments and grumbling because of all the money that I spent
and still am planning to spend) on these plugins, worth while. ha ha.

Subject: Re: QWS List I need high quality soundfonts. Anyone got any
suggestions?

Hello,
I also am searching for a soundfont.
The soundfont witch I am searching for, is the soundfont that Quinten Pendle
used to make the songs of Film Score themes, but I never have found it.

Regards,
Adrián.
