Hi Alex,

Yes, there is a MIDI message to set the pitch bend range. Check the
documentation for your instrument to see if it is supported.

It's called a Registered Parameter.

here are the MIDI messages you'll need to set:

CC#100 = 0
CC#101 = 0

This pair select the pitch bend range parameter.

CC#6 = 12
This one sets the value = in this case 12 semitones.

Technically, you then should reset cc#100 and cc#101 to 127, to prevent any
further stray cc#6 messages further setting your pitch bend.

I have constructed a MIDI file for you, please see attached. Just copy it to
your own track.
Note, the MIDI file will not make any sound by itself.
Use the Event List to have a look at it.

Hope this helps.

With best regards,

James.

Subj: QWS List Pitch Range

Hi!

It is possible discussed earlier before, but I don't know it. Is there a
chance to set the pitch range from one whole tone to an octave, that you
can control with the Pitch bend wheel?
