I knew there was something I was forgetting! I was sure I was missing a step because I've accessed options in larger soundfonts before. Thank you for reminding me!

For clarification: When the "Program" number is set to anything from -1 to 127 it works fine and plays all the right instruments as long as the "Bank" number is set to -1. After that, it does the sound effects in the 123-128 banks, but nothing else. As I said, I tried to set the "Program" number to 15 and the "bank" number to 12 for this particular soundfont, and instead of getting the Christmas Bells I was expecting, I got the Dulcimer, which is "Program" number 15 in the 0 "Bank". I used Viena to get the bank numbers of the presets, but when I tried to put them in to listen to the instruments, everything above the first main bank (0-127/-1) didn't seem to play anything different from the main bank. I tried to access a preset with the number 015:012 and it only played the Marimba instead of what I wanted to access. I don't know why this is.
