MIDI clock is exactly what it sounds like -- a MIDI based time stream that 
helps to keep things working together, like sequencers, drum machines, 
arpeggiators, etc. For some reason it causes problems. I'm not sure if it's a 
QWS problem or something with how some sound sources interpret the clock data, 
but it's common enough that it causes problems for multiple sound sources.
You can find detailed information on it with a net search, as just about 
everything relating to MIDI can be found somewhere on the web.
