I know of no way to use FX with QWS unless you run it as a player in another
DAW, like Reaper. (this of course excludes the reverb and chorus that QWS can
access if the player can do them)
I like BassMIDI for sound font playback. Others have their favorites. These are
"Driver" synths that install directly into the OS of your system. If you dig
around you might be able to find Roland's Virtual Sound Canvas or Yamaha's
Virtual XG synth, though these tend to have a bit of latency. If you want to
use VST synths then you'll need a VST "wrapper" to make it possible along with
a virtual MIDI cable. Virtual MIDI cables are also the way to connect to
stand-alone synths.

Subject: QWS List Need help

hello, it’s tyrone again, been off and on with QWS for a second, but, have had
some problems. I wanna use this because this is easy since I’m blind, but now
comes the hard part, what’s a good player to include virtual instruments with
QWS? Well, I’d like to use a mix of virtual instruments and effects and
soundfonts. Also, the tempo, dynamics and ornaments are giving me problems.
Just keep in mind, I need to know what menus I need to use for those. To
