Depends on your definition of "active". James is a one person development, 
coding, testing, and deployment team and QWS isn't and can't be his primary 
focus, as it's pretty much freeware. He puts out updates from time to time, and 
he's got a reputedly vast list of feature suggestions. (I know he's gotten a 
decent list from me, at the very least)
I agree that it's one of the both simplest and also the most detailed ways to 
work with MIDI out there.

Hello All!

     Is QWS still under active development?

     I am a totally blind PC user and use NVDA as my primary screen reader.

     QWS works very well with NVDA.  And, is much easier to use than REAPER!

     I hope that QWS will continue to be developed/upgraded for all of us who 
enjoy making use of it for general playing/recording of MIDI files/projects?
