I recently was re-introduced to an issue with QWS that I haven't seen in months. It's apparent with JAWS, NVDA, and Narrator. Last time I experienced the issue was on 6/23/2020. I was able to uninstall QWS, reinstall it, and it worked again without issue until just recently when I updated to the latest NVDA. It might be coincidence that it happened when I updated NVDA. I see no evidence that it was something other than coincidence.
I'll describe the issue: 1. I open QWS 1.56 2. I pass the ctrl+insert (create a new track) keystroke through with my screen reader. a. Note this issue is also apparent when I navigate to the Track menu and press enter on insert new track 3. I press enter on the new track to enter the name and no characters are entered into the track name field. a. Also, at this point I can't tab to the channel field b. I can't press escape to get out of the track properties dialog c. I can't alt+f4 to close down QWS. The only thing I can do at this point is to go to the task manager and end the QWS application. Has anyone seen this issue? I've tried to uninstall QWS and reinstall it like I did a couple of months ago but the issue persists after a reinstall. Suggestions? Much appreciated, David
