Hello,
Seth,
Thanks for writing. I'll definitely take your suggestion.
It turns out that after uninstalling QWS, my files remained in their
places.
Unfortunately output ports still won't open with a fresh installation.
If I can't solve this, I can't do any sequencing.
I need the "powers that be" to consider this and let me know what can be
done.
I thank you.

You can choose where you want to save your files when the Save as dialogue
comes up the first time you save a new file. Personally, I don’t keep my files
in the QWS folder, but in a different directory within my documents folder.
This way, if something goes wrong and I have to uninstall QWS, My Files won’t
get deleted, and I can resume work on them when I reinstall it.
God bless!

Good evening,
I now have a new synthesizer and I still have the situation where QWS cannot
open the output port.
I have to believe that the software is corrupt. I will install it again.
My question is what happens to my songs which are buried many layers deep. It
will be difficult to replace them even though they are backed up.
How is it that my files end up in that remote location rather than in the main
QWS folder?
I truly look forward to your thoughtsand ideas.
Thank you for reading this.
