Good morning,
restating the original problem, I cannot use QWS to play MIDI files on
my Win 10 computer. QWS cannot open the out port on my Medeli SP-4200
keyboard. These files play when using Media Player.
Jacki McBride sent me a link to an article about resolving MIDI
conflicts. I do not understand a lot of the contents of the piece, but
one thing struck me. That article appeared to assume that MIDI files
don't play.
As I said, they do with Media player.
QWS operates properlyon my Win 7 machine.
I couldn't find the MIDI mapper used on that machine. When I got the Win
10 computer, I looked for another one and found Coolsoft Midi Mapper.
Is QWS in conflict with the mapper? I don't know.
This is all the info I can think of related to my difficulty. I can only
hope one of you has an idea as to what I can do next.
