Hi Seth, thanks for the information. That sounds very helpful. I will play with
it when I get back from holiday. Holiday? Remember when that used to be a thing?

You can definitely do this with midi controllers. The controller for attack
time is number 73. If your hardware synthesizer or midi controller has a knob
assigned to attack, you can just use that while recording. If not, you can
create attack parameters in the event list. Play the track until you find a
spot where you want to change the attack, then press control L for The event
list. If you need to go back or forward a beat, you can do so using alt B
and/or Alt N. Then press I for insert,, chews control chng in the list that
pops up, and press enter. By default it wants to use controller zero and value
0 on your new event. To change these values, press your applications key, and
hit V. This is your controller number field, so type in 73 and press enter.
Now, to change the attack time value, hit V; Type in whatever attack value you
want from 0 to 127, and press enter. Now, hit escape to go back to the main
screen, and play back your track. You should hear a difference in the attack
time on your clarinet.
Hope this helps. Also, for future reference, here is the list of controller
numbers and their assignments:

God bless!

I have a clarinet track created. I need to change the attack on each note, can
this be done with midi controller numbers? Would I have to do each individual
note or can I do this as the whole track? can anyone give me any tips on how
this is done?
