Eu adicionei o comando "|vim Vim-R-plugin.vmb|" no terminal o que fez o
editor Vim abrir no entanto ao inserir o comando so%
aparece o seguinte mensagem:

Aparentemente, o arquivo sendo editado pelo Vim não é o
Vim-R-plugin.vmb (a mensagem diz que o arquivo não é do tipo
Vimball, cuja extensão é .vmb). Sugestão de procedimento
alternativo:
1. Abra o gerenciador de arquivos.
2. Vá para o diretório "Downloads".
3. Clique com o botão direito do mouse sobre o arquivo
Vim-R-plugin.vmb e procure uma opção equivalente a "Abrir
com" e escolha o "GVim".
4. No GVim, em modo Normal, digite:
:so %
