I'm sorry to report that I had accidentally broken last night's R-devel snapshot "R-devel_2004-12-28...". If for some reason, you are interested in fixing that manually, add one "\" at the end of line 649 in file src/main/array.c.
It may have bad consequences for automatic daily builds (with R-devel only), possibly including the CRAN and Bioconductor package check results.
