Is there a way to communicate with a running R daemon from perl. I tried RSPerl but the functions there initiate an R instance first. I would like to keep an R instance running in the background and communicate with it using Perl. The problem is due to a large object that we need which has to be loaded every time the R instance is initialized: load(file="model.Rdata"). Thanks, Saeed
