Hi Ilya, If you're looking for general information about statistical tests, etc., you'll probably need to buy yourself a textbook. There are online pages (http://homes.msi.ucsb.edu/~byrnes/rtutorial.html is a good one), but a good textbook is probably better. It's a bit old, but I still recommend Fowler et al. (1998) for those who are starting out with statistical testing: Fowler J, Cohen L & Jarvis P (1998). Practical statistics for field biology (2nd ed.). Wiley, Chichester, UK. Toby Marthews

I hope, i'm doing right, writing here. I have a question about the R statistical formulas: were can I look, what are they? E. g. I'd like to know which exactly mathematical formula is used in Wilcoxon test, and others. Is there somewhere on the Internet information about that? Thanks a lot! Ilya. PS Sorry for any mistakes in my English, it is not my mother-tongue. ______________________________________________ R-help@r-project.org mailing list https://stat.ethz.ch/mailman/listinfo/r-help PLEASE do read the posting guide http://www.R-project.org/posting-guide.html and provide commented, minimal, self-contained, reproducible code. ______________________________________________ R-help@r-project.org mailing list https://stat.ethz.ch/mailman/listinfo/r-help PLEASE do read the posting guide http://www.R-project.org/posting-guide.html and provide commented, minimal, self-contained, reproducible code.
