I would like to create a "\%" that can be written to a file as I am writing a procedure to output to latex.
I can't create a "\%" and it is driving me crazy. -------------------------------------- x = "This is a test % string" gsub ("%", "\\%", x) fileConn<-file("c:/biostats/test.txt") writeLines(x, fileConn) close(fileConn) -------------------------------------- Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. -- View this message in context: http://r.789695.n4.nabble.com/help-with-in-strings-tp3470964p3470964.html Sent from the R help mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ______________________________________________ R-help@r-project.org mailing list https://stat.ethz.ch/mailman/listinfo/r-help PLEASE do read the posting guide http://www.R-project.org/posting-guide.html and provide commented, minimal, self-contained, reproducible code.
