Dear List,
How can I get R to display error messages, for example, if I try to change to a
non-existent directory or try to load a library that is not installed?
Currently R is very silent. I did fix the problem once using 'options'
(show.error.messages, I think), but id doesn't seem to be working any more, and
R doesn't tell me if I have an error in my command.
Please let me know how I can fix this.
