It is in Windows OS and I read the manual, installed the latest version of RTools. I also have MinGW64 compiler installed. I still kept getting this errors. If Windows: See the R Installation and Administration manual that explains the steps to set the environment up correctly. And if you start with it, use R >= 2.14.2 so that you install the new toolchain to be compatible for future releases.
