Hi John, I did some further checks and noticed that the java version, which is indicated by the settings (I used the code you sent) is version 1.5.0_12, although I installed version 1.7.0_05 shortly. The paths as shown by parameter "java.endorsed.dirs" are wrong. They are pointing to an older version of java on my machine. Do you know how I can rJava have referring to the correct directories, where I have the newer version of java?. (C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\lib..)
