Thank you Gabor. I tried to exhaust all troubleshooting solutions listed on the site you suggested prior to posting my question. Perhaps you could share what this error is stemming from. Interestingly, on another machine I have no issue with it when I run R 2.10, whereas when I try Ryacas with R 2.15.1 on the same machine the error shows up.
