I **think** he is saying that he is not getting anything at all back on the "console." If so, he needs to *follow the posting guide* and tell us what OS and setup he is using and **exactly** what is meant by the "R console" (GUI, command line, ...?) . Your last suggestion to post elsewhere may also be apropos.
