Morning all: Coming straight to the point. Switched from XP to Ubuntu Linux. Followed the steps outlined on the website to install a current version of R to my machine. Seems to have worked OK, but the process doesn't install it to the desktop. The notes don't go into that part of it, so I'm seeking some advice from others more experienced on how to take the last couple of steps to make R a menu/desktop choice in GNOME.
Please and thanks. -- Brian Lunergan Nepean, Ontario Canada ______________________________________________ R-help@r-project.org mailing list https://stat.ethz.ch/mailman/listinfo/r-help PLEASE do read the posting guide http://www.R-project.org/posting-guide.html and provide commented, minimal, self-contained, reproducible code.
